Over 160 stone bridges were built on the territory of Zagori during the 18th and 19th centuries from period of Turkish rule. Trails passes trough 6 stone bridges Misios, Kontodimos, Milos, Plakidas, Kokoros and Captain Arkudis bridge. Trail also pass trough few villages like Vitsa, Koukouli and Kipi.

In Zagori, there is a National Park named the Vikos-Aos, with the famous Vikos Gorge. The Gorge is 31 km long, with a maximum depth of 1350 m. Width of gorge is from only few meters it holds Guiness World Record of the deepest gorge in the world relative to his width. Most popular hiking trail in Vikos Gorge starts from Monodendri village and after 10 km it ends in Vikos village.

Most popular hiking trail on Mountain Tymfi starts from village Micro Papigo, from which you can climb to the peaks Astraka (2,432 m) and Gamila ( 2,497 m). On Tympfi mountain you can visit few lakes Drakolimni, Kserolimni and Robozi. Between the villages of Megalo and Mikro Papigo, you should not miss the natural rock pools – Ovires Rogovu.
